We are excited to offer winter reservations. Winter is a beautiful and fun time in the Upper Peninsula. If you snowmobile, ice fish, snowshoe, cross country or downhill ski, our cabins provide a warm and cozy place to relax after your day of adventure.
If you enjoy indoor activities during the winter such as curling up with a good book, putting together a puzzle or quilting (The Portage Quilt House is across the street), we have a place for you as well.

The queen bedroom has a cozy and warm atheistic that is perfect for nice couple or a wondering snowmobile rider.
Cabin 5- Lake House
This triple bedroom includes a full kitchen, dining area, full living room, and a private deck that is perfect for a big group of friends.
Cabin 4
This cozy Queen size bedroom has a pull out sofa along with a deck to look over the lake and is perfect for small groups.

We are so excited to share our 5 Cabins on Portage Lake, where it's easy to make memories!
Located on the trail between Houghton and Chassell and only minutes from downtown Houghton!

Do you have wifi strong enough for guests to work/zoom/school?
Yes, each cabin has great wifi and we have had many guests work from our cabins.
Do you have a boat launch and dock we can keep our boat on?
We do have a boat launch and dock space for you to dock your boat.
Do you have a big enough parking lot for snowmobile/boat trailers?
Yes, we have a large parking lot that has had many trailers parked along with our guests cars.
Do you supply linens?
Yes, we have bathroom linens, sheets, blankets and linens for the sofa beds. We also supply dishtowels and dish cloths as well. If you are staying with us in the summer you will need to bring beach towels.
Do you have supplies in your kitchens?
We stock the kitchens with the essential pots, pans, serving dishes, utensils, etc. We do not stock spices outside of salt and pepper. We do stock enough dry creamer and sugar for the first morning.
Do you have grills?
Yes, each cabin has a gas grill for your convenience.
Do you have a firepit?
Yes we do! We have bundles of firewood for $5 if you need wood for your fire. We also have free kindling if needed.
